Summary

On Sunday 10th of December 1961, in the first game ever between the two clubs, IFK Göteborg visited Colombo Selection for a friendly game in Colombo. The game, which produced a great amount of goals, was refereed by B. M. Mantara (Sri Lanka) and ended in a walkover victory for IFK Göteborg: 8-2, after a half time lead of 7-0.
