Biography

Eric Fredrik Alexander Leksell was born on February 14, 1997 in Göteborg and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 2015 season, which was also the debut season of team mate Patrik Karlsson Lagemyr. Leksell was part of IFK Göteborg's youth program before making his debute with the first team, and is as a result of that regarded by the club as a home-grown player. At 19 years, 4 months and 21 days, on July 7, 2016, he took part his first competetive game against Llandudno FC in a Europa League game that ended 2–1. He has spent two seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 3 first team games. Out of these 3 first team games, 1 were Allsvenskan games..
