Biography
Gustaf Arvid Jakob Mellin was born on November 16, 1890 in Dragsmark and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 1911 season, which was also the debut season of team mate John Karlsson-Nottorp. At 20 years, 11 months and 4 days, on October 22, 1911, he took part his first competetive game against Djurgårdens IF in a Svenska serien game that ended 1–1. He spent thre seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 14 first team games and scored 8 goals. Mellin passed away in 1984, 93 years old.
