Biography

Jan Erik Wallin was born on April 23, 1970 in Floda and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 1989 season, which was also the debut season of team mate Thomas Ravelli. Wallin was part of IFK Göteborg's youth program before making his debute with the first team, and is as a result of that regarded by the club as a home-grown player. At 20 years, 2 months and 11 days, on July 4, 1990, he took part his first competetive game against BK Forward in a Svenska cupen game that ended 2–3. He has spent two seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 17 first team games. 50 year old Wallin completed his last season with IFK Göteborg 1990.
