Biography

Per Magnus Verdin was born on April 24, 1970 in Kungsbacka and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 1988 season, which was also the debut season of team mate Håkan Mild. Verdin was part of IFK Göteborg's youth program before making his debute with the first team, and is as a result of that regarded by the club as a home-grown player. At 18 years, 10 months and 7 days, on March 1, 1989, he took part his first competetive game against FCSB in a Europacupen game that ended 1–0. He has spent thre seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 29 first team games. 50 year old Verdin completed his last season with IFK Göteborg 1990.
