Olof Vilhelm Erik Erickson was born on November 21, 1884 in Göteborg and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 1907 season, which was also the debut season of team mate Konrad Törnqvist. At 23 years, 5 months and 10 days, on May 3, 1908, he took part his first competetive game against Örgryte IS in a Corinthian Bowl game that ended 2–3. He spent two seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 4 first team games. In total, Erickson has represented his country at the highest level on 1 occasion. It's worth noting that the statistics for players who had their debut ahead of the 1920 season is, or could be, incomplete.
