Overview

Glenn Tobias Hysén was born on 9 March 1982 in Göteborg. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 2007 season. He made his competitive debut on 15 September 2007 against IF Elfsborg in Allsvenskan, a match that finished 2–2.

He spent 10 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 379 appearances and scoring 141 goals. Of those 379 appearances, 251 came in Allsvenskan.

Hysén won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 2007. He was part of an IFK Göteborg Swedish Cup-winning side in 2008 and 2012/13. He was named IFK Göteborg's Archangel of the Year in 2009. In 2009, he finished as Allsvenskan's top scorer with 18 goals. Hysén made 34 senior international appearances for Sweden, scoring 10 goals.
