Overview

Glenn Jan Schiller was born on 28 March 1960 in Göteborg. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 1977 season. He came through IFK Göteborg's youth system before the senior debut and is regarded by the club as a home-grown player. He made his competitive debut on 16 April 1979 against Kalmar FF in Allsvenskan, a match that finished 4–0.

He spent 9 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 294 appearances and scoring 30 goals. Of those 294 appearances, 125 came in Allsvenskan.

Schiller won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 1982, 1983 and 1984. He was part of the IFK Göteborg side that won the UEFA Cup in 1981/82. He was part of an IFK Göteborg Swedish Cup-winning side in 1978/79, 1981/82 and 1982/83.
