Player profile
Overview
Herbert Arnold Sandström was born on 11 November 1900 in Mölndal. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 1921 season. He made his competitive debut on 23 July 1922 against IS Halmia in Swedish Championship qualifier, a match that finished 2–0.
He spent 7 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 91 appearances and scoring 31 goals. Of those 91 appearances, 16 came in Allsvenskan.
Sandström died on 15 January 1986, aged 85.
For seasons before 1922, surviving participation records are not always complete. Match and goal totals from that period should therefore be read as the best available documented record.
