Biography
Sven Elis Teofron Rylander was born on December 19, 1894 in Göteborg and made his IFK Göteborg debut in the 1914 season, which was also the debut season of team mate Erik Eiserman. Rylander was part of IFK Göteborg's youth program before making his debute with the first team, and is as a result of that regarded by the club as a home-grown player. At 19 years, 10 months and 25 days, on November 15, 1914, he took part his first competetive game against AIK in a Svenska serien game that ended 4–3. He spent seven seasons with the IFK Göteborgs first team, and during his career he played in 65 first team games. Rylander won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 1918. In total, Rylander has represented his country at the highest level on 1 occasion. He is the brother of Anders Rylander. Rylander passed away in 1982, 87 years old.
