Player profile

Overview

Sven Elis Teofron Rylander was born on 19 December 1894 in Göteborg. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 1914 season. He came through IFK Göteborg's youth system before the senior debut and is regarded by the club as a home-grown player. He made his competitive debut on 15 November 1914 against AIK in Svenska Serien, a match that finished 4–3.

He spent 7 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 64 appearances.

Rylander won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 1918. Rylander made 1 senior international appearance for Sweden.

Rylander died on 3 February 1982, aged 87.

For seasons before 1922, surviving participation records are not always complete. Match and goal totals from that period should therefore be read as the best available documented record.
