Player profile

Overview

Karl Olof Henning Svensson was born on 13 October 1891 in Partille. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 1908 season. He made his competitive debut on 2 May 1909 against Örgryte IS in Corinthian Bowl, a match that finished 1–4.

He spent 17 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 367 appearances and scoring 3 goals. Of those 367 appearances, 15 came in Allsvenskan.

Svensson won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 1910 and 1918. Svensson made 20 senior international appearances for Sweden.

Svensson died on 23 January 1979, aged 87.

For seasons before 1922, surviving participation records are not always complete. Match and goal totals from that period should therefore be read as the best available documented record.
