Overview

Robin Mikael Söder was born on 1 April 1991 in Magra. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 2008 season. He came through IFK Göteborg's youth system before the senior debut and is regarded by the club as a home-grown player. He made his competitive debut on 1 May 2008 against Skövde AIK in the Swedish Cup, a match that finished 2–1.

He spent 11 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 275 appearances and scoring 72 goals. Of those 275 appearances, 186 came in Allsvenskan.

He was part of an IFK Göteborg Swedish Cup-winning side in 2008, 2012/13, 2014/15 and 2019/20. He was named IFK Göteborg's Archangel of the Year in 2018. Söder made 1 senior international appearance for Sweden.
