Overview
Manne Valdus Lund was born on 4 April 1895 in Göteborg. His IFK Göteborg first-team career began in the 1912 season. He came through IFK Göteborg's youth system before the senior debut and is regarded by the club as a home-grown player. He made his competitive debut on 4 August 1912 against IFK Karlstad in Swedish Championship qualifier, a match that finished 10–1.
He spent 16 seasons with IFK Göteborg's first team and made 342 appearances and scoring 4 goals. Of those 342 appearances, 46 came in Allsvenskan.
Lund won the Swedish championship with IFK Göteborg in 1918. Lund made 29 senior international appearances for Sweden.
Lund died on 9 May 1962, aged 67.
